You’re here on this website because you feel you need to get fitter and in better shape. Or maybe you want to eat more healthily and lose weight?
But you feel you have another problem … you’re on the other side of thirty, maybe forty or maybe sixty and so you dread the idea of going to a gym with all those lithe young things. You’d love to have a personal trainer to guide and help you, but will some twenty-something have any idea what it’s like to have a female forty-something body?
Well, I’m just the person you’re looking for! My name is Carolyn and I’m a certified Fitness Trainer, Food Coach, certified MenoFitness Trainer, Weight Loss Consultant … and grandmother! I may not be nice and lean like I used to be and, because of some health issues, I know I never will be, but I am still very proud of me because I am fit, I am strong and well-nourished daily.
Many women of my age are still lovely and slim, but that certainly can’t be the case for all of us. Perhaps you too also have some health concerns are not happy with how you look so you don’t exercise? I’d really urge you to change that and let me help you adopt a new and healthy lifestyle.
So yes, I know I am not perfect and never will be again, but that’s exactly how it is meant to be. I love my body for all its imperfections and so should you – that’s what I’m here to help with. I’m not going to turn you into a supermodel, but I’m going to make you feel like one inside!
My target market is women only from 40+ through to 60+, but mainly pre, peri or post-menopausal. I specialize in working with older women to stay healthy and improve their strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and posture. All of these are going to enable them to live independently and to achieve a better quality of life, especially through those menopause years.
The fitness related services I offer are 1:1 Personal Training and group training, for ladies only, in my Woman to Woman classes – both of these take place in my private studio, built at my home, which sits in two acres of gardens, in Highland Park on the Gold Coast; a perfect place for outdoor training and getting some wonderful fresh air.
For looking after your nutrition I provide Food Coaching, helping you to live a healthy and happy life and specific support for your Weight Loss aspirations.
